12.11.2024 Scholes on Hejlund`s performance after the Manchester United-PAOK match: I`m a little disappointed. I think he will improve with a coach who believes in him

Paul Scholes said he was disappointed with Rasmus Hejlund`s performance against PAOK. Manchester United beat the Greek club at home in the Europa League (2:0).
The 21-year-old Danish striker has remained scoreless in 5 games in a row.  
After conceding a goal, PAOK looked dangerous for a while, but for the most part Manchester United controlled the game. I`m a little disappointed with Heilund`s performance. I think he will improve and become better under a coach who believes in him. “I don’t want to say that Ruud [van Nistelrooy] doesn’t believe in him, ” the former English club midfielder said on TNT Sport.  
Then Van Nistelrooy himself, the acting head coach of the team, joined the broadcast. Next, Scholes turned to his former Manchester United teammate.
I think the key point for Rasmus is that you need partnerships. He didn`t have the best match, he faced difficulties. There were moments when he interacted well with Bruno, but it wasn’t enough, ” Scholes said.
