Alberto Zaccheroni ended up in intensive care after an accident. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere Romagna, the ex-coach of Milan, Lazio, Inter, Juventus and JapanĀ fell and hit his head, losing consciousness at his home in Cesenatico. It is unknown whether he lost consciousness due to the blow or before it. An ambulance immediately rushed the 69-year-old Italian to the Maurizio Bufalini Hospital in Cesena, where he was admitted to intensive care. He was initially diagnosed with a concussion and head injury but has yet to regain consciousness. With Milan, Zaccheroni won Serie A in the 1998/99 season, and with the Japanese national team he won the Asian Cup (2011) and the East Asian Cup (2013).
