Sacramento defeated Miami 111 to 110. The Kings trailed by 13 points at halftime. According to head coach Mike Brown, there was a lively discussion in the locker room during a pause in the game.
We try to set up and motivate the guys, they motivate each other. And in cases like this, this is exactly what happens in good teams. Everyone wants everyone in the team to feel responsible. I shouldn`t be the only one calling for accountability.
Guys should come out and say: I didn`t do the best job here. I have to play better. Others must say: You must play better, you must play better. But to do this, everyone needs to play at a high level, and it`s not about statistics, but rather about the level of dedication, focus and attention to detail.
This is what we had. Everyone called each other to responsibility, no one took it personally, everyone understood that we had one common goal. We had to win, which we eventually went out and did. Something like that. Something like that, ” Brown said.
