Very difficult season, but I finished eighth. So that all such difficult seasons end like this. You need to understand reality and be positive. You need to be grateful for this. Many players who had a great season, 11th or 12th.

I will rest for a week. I am planning big changes in my preparation. I`m looking forward to it, wondering what will come of it.

About burnout
Burnout happens during the season, not only at the end. For example, I was completely overwhelmed in the summer during and after Wimbledon. Our [pauses] are not that long. It’s not like you play for six months and then rest for four months. We don`t feel like the year is ending. In just a month I`ll be flying to Australia again. When you start the season, you are already tired. Therefore, burnout can happen at any time.
