Horner commented on Red Bull`s difficulties in cold Vegas. Red Bull chief Christian Horner summed up the results of the first practices before the Las Vegas Grand Prix, during which the Formula 1 champions did not perform well.
It`s about tires and temperatures. These are the key elements. I guess in the short stints we just didn`t hit the tire [temperature] window and never got it to work.
On long stretches the car performed normally. There are some other issues that need to be sorted out, but they are in some ways similar to those of other teams. If we talk about short series, we simply did not make the tires work, ” the manager analyzed the situation.
