21.12.2024 Bayern apologized for fans` banner Fuck you, plutocrat Al-Khelaifi! at the match with PSG: Does not reflect our position

Bayern Munich have apologized for fan banners targeting Nasser Al-Khelaifi. Yesterday, the Munich team hosted the Parisians (1:0) in the match of the 5th round of the Champions League.
The home team`s fans hung two banners containing a message to the PSG president.
On the first one it was written: Minister, club owner, television rights holder, UEFA executive committee member and chairman of the ECA (European Club Sports Association) - all in one?
On the other: Is football mine? Fuck you, plutocrat Al-Khelaifi!  
Bayern would like to apologize that their opponents and their representatives in the stadium felt insulted in this way.
The Club would like to make it clear that these banners have not been approved by Bayern and do not represent our position. They do not correspond to the good and long-standing relationship between the two clubs.
The tone of these banners is also contrary to Bayern`s style and the respectful relationship that the club maintains with its international partners, the Munich club said in a statement.
