21.12.2024 Halep on Swiatek and Sinner doping cases: I am hurt by the injustice against me

Simona Halep reacted to the doping decisions of Iga Schwiatek and Jannik Sinner. I sit and try to understand, but I really can`t. I ask myself why such different attitudes and such different solutions? I can`t understand and I don`t think there is any logical answer to this. This is only malice on the part of ITIA, an organization that has done absolutely everything to destroy me, despite the obvious.
She really wanted to destroy the last years of my career, she wanted something I could never imagine.
I always believed in goodness, I believed in the fairness of this sport, I believed in goodness. I was hurt, hurt now and, perhaps, will always be hurt by injustice towards me. How can it be that in the same situations that happened around the same time, ITIA treated the players differently - to my detriment? How could I accept the fact that the WTA and the players` council did not want to give me back the ranking I deserved? !
I lost two years of my career, many sleepless nights, thoughts, worries, unanswered questions. . . But I achieved justice. It turned out that it was contamination, and my biological passport was a complete fabrication.
And I won something else - my soul is pure! I feel disappointed, sad, annoyed, but even now I don`t feel angry.
I am grateful for the unconditional support and love of those who have been with me every day. Thank you! In all this meanness, I also had love, because those who gave it to me in those moments really knew me! Perhaps this is the biggest victory!
As you know, the sun rises every morning for everyone, but it’s good if you greet it with a calm soul! This is who I am, and I am content and proud of who I am.
In the fall of 2022, Roxadustat was found in Halep’s doping test. Her case was considered for almost a year, and in September 2023, ITIA disqualified her for 4 years. Later, CAS reduced the suspension to 9 months
Recall that earlier it became known that Szwiatek was found to have trimetazidine, but the Polish woman proved that it entered her body through contaminated melatonin. She was suspended for a month, of which she has already served 23 days.
Shventek was caught for doping - the same as Valieva. But she received a ban for only a month
Sinner was caught twice with steroids - but was not banned. Why?
CAS may ban Sinner for doping. Who in tennis has already gone through this?
