Florentino Perez refused to discuss the transfer of Vinicius Junior last summer. According to AS, in the summer of 2024, a representative of the Saudi Saudi sovereign Foundation (PIF) asked for a meeting with the President of Real Madrid to discuss the possible transfer of the Winger. Perez refused, referring to the item on compensation in the amount of 1 billion euros, registered in the Brazilian contract.  
After that, the representative of the Saudis held a telephone conversation with Jose Angel Sanchez, during which the director of the Madrid club stated that Vinisius was not for sale.  
According to sources close to the player, the next summer the Saudis will again try to sign Vinicius. It was reported that the player can offer 1 billion euros under a 5-year contract. The Brazilian himself does not plan to leave his current team.
