Horner implies the future departure of Fersstappen from F-1. The leader Red Bull believes that the current champion will not stay in Formula 1 really for a long time, like Hamilton or Alonso, and at some point may well go to another racing series.
The current contract of Fersstappen with Red Bull is calculated until the end of 2028. | Honestly, Max Ferstappen has always been on his mind, and from the conversations that we waged with him, I had a clear idea that Max does not see himself in the role of Ferno Alonso or Lewis Hamilton-and does not plan to act in Formula 1 for another 15 years or so.
Max has interests outside Formula 1. He likes to chase the GT class cars, like Simrayising, he likes LMP class cars. In certain things, he has quite old -school preferences.
And a certain noise and a circus around Formula 1 is clearly not to his liking. But he will chase F-1 as long as he enjoys it.
But as soon as this pleasure decreases, he has enough character and determination to declare: you know what? Next year I am leaving for class GT classes.
Max is unique in that Formula 1 is not a determining factor for him. He likes to chase here, he loves these races, but as soon as the feeling of satisfaction is weakened, he will just leave and take care of something else.
